Getting to the Bottom of Bathroom Struggles
Wednesday, June 25th
6:30-7:30pm
Constipation, bedwetting, daytime accidents, and frequent “just in case” bathroom trips are common concerns among children—but they’re not something you or your child have to live with. Often these concerns can impact schooling and family life but are treatable and not something your child has to live with forever.
Join pediatric chiropractor Dr. Lauren Zokan, DC and pelvic floor physical therapist Dr. Lauryn Beecher, PT, DPT for a collaborative workshop focused on understanding and supporting your child’s bladder and bowel health.
This workshop is best for parents and caregivers of children ages 2–8.
In this session, you'll learn:
How the nervous system, pelvic floor, and core all contribute to healthy bladder and bowel function
Common root causes of constipation, bedwetting, and urinary urgency in children
Why posture, core stability, and movement patterns matter (yes, even for kids!)
Practical strategies to support regular, relaxed bathroom habits at home
When to seek care and how pediatric chiropractic and physical therapy can help
This workshop will give you the foundations to better understand your child’s body and take meaningful steps toward improving their bathroom habits to make life easier.
Note: This workshop is designed for adults, so your child does not need to attend with you.
