Meet Dr. Rachel Fritz PT, DPT

Perinatal, pregnancy & postpartum care, and women’s & men’s health

Born and raised in Michigan, I got an early start to sports and began playing soccer when I was just 4 years old. Throughout the years, I quickly learned the love of sports and played just about everything else I could. Growing up as an athlete came with its fair share of injuries, and at 14 I was first introduced to the world of physical therapy due to a knee injury. After one session, I walked out of the clinic, looked at my mom and said, "well I know what I want to be when I grow up!"

I went on to get my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Christian University in 2014 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2021. During my first year of physical therapy school, I attended a conference with my classmates and learned about the specialty of pelvic floor physical therapy. Hooked from the beginning, I began looking further into pelvic health and treatment considerations with physical therapy and was set on becoming a pelvic floor physical therapist.

I have taken a multitude of continuing education courses to expand my depth of knowledge of pelvic health. I treat a variety of conditions, including urinary, bowel, and sexual dysfunctions in both men and women, as well as prenatal and postpartum conditions. I am very passionate about creating an individualized treatment plan to address each patient's symptoms and goals. I utilize a variety of treatment interventions including manual techniques, dry needling, therapeutic exercises, visceral manipulations, relaxation and breathing techniques, and extensive education on all things pelvic health.

Outside of the clinic, I spend my time at the gym or with my nose buried in a good book.
